ABOUT COURTNEY

Courtney is a trained actor with experience in voice over, narration and musical theater. Playing the kid or the side kick seem to be her jam. Courtney is described as quirky and fun while able to embrace quiet and structure (A dose of “My Cousin Vinny” style Italian American a la carte). On the stage, Courtney has been able to play roles like Peter Pan, Junie B Jones and evil stepsisters. In the booth, she has voiced characters like a fire hydrant named Squirt and has brought TIME for Kids magazine to the ears of many school aged children. Her bright and spunky voice lends itself perfectly to middle grade characters.

Life experience and three kids of her own give her the depth, understanding and empathy needed to add honesty and believability to younger and older characters alike, as well as the right amount of absurdity to voice more outrageous characters. Having experienced terrific loss in her own life, she has a special spot in her heart for grief and the grieving, especially young people.
